Hakuna Matata Friends

Hello Friends!  I hope you're having a fabulous Saturday! Today I am sharing a card that celebrates one of my favorite movies, The Lion King, which was one of the last movies I watched with my Mom!  I think I cried the first time I saw it in 1994 and still do each time!  I love, love love this movie.  I hope the remake is just as good??
This card was designed for the Catch The Bug Saturday Challenge which is of course, Your favorite movie theme, and this cute image is one of my faves over at Bugaboo!  You just have to enter your favoite movie themed card in the challenge.  I can't wait to see what you have come up with!!  Trust me I will be looking for it!

My background was made by using a scalloped oval die cut and brushing on distress oxides to make a fun sunset sky and then I used a beautiful Altenew stamp set to make the tree silhouette.  I colored my Bugaboo image with Copics and popped it up on some foam tape.  I think the Graphic 45 paper made it pop even more.  What do you think?  I'd love to know what your favorite movie is?

    Adorable card. My birthday is coming up and I told my kids that I want to go see the new movie with them because they would watch this all the time as kids.

      Thanks Maxine. We went to the theater all the time as kids, and them once I was married my first husband couldn’t sit still long enough to justify paying to watch a movie. Now, I’m making up for lost time. Lol

    Concerning your question about my Rolodex: I make a card with Margaret for every new month and at the back I write down the names and dates of the birthdays of that month. When all 12 are finished, I will show them together.
