Freebie Friday! Thanks to the Teacher

Good morning!  I hope you're all doing well today!  I have design team project to share with for Catch the Bug Challenge Blog where we are featuring Bugaboo Stamp's Freebie Friday stamp!  Deacon is one of my favorites and I think this cute stamp is perfect for a Teacher's card, or for desk name tags.  I'll let you decide.  But first... you better go get yours!

I colored my blackboard splotchy to make it look more realistic.  My sentiment is generated from a Word doc font and then foiled using holographic foil.  I then, thought it would look cool to add a white gel pen over it to give it a chalky, but shiny look. It's a different look, but it turned out okay.  I hope you like it!

Products used?  white/charcoal card stock, Paper studios notebook themed scrapbook paper, Copic markers, Stickles, Wink of Stella, Distress Oxide Inks, Andy Skinner Alphabet Spaghetti stencil, and Heidi Swap holographic foil, white gelly roll pen, and Deacon School Sign It 3 stamp

Thinking of you Sunflower

Good afternoon!  TGIF! Aren't you glad for short weeks?  I know I am.  Today I am sharing a card designed for Pattie's Creation Design Challenge where the challenge this month is "anything that flies."  I colored my image, Thinking of You with copic markers and then added distress oxide ink to make the sky background.  What I love about this stamp is that it is simply beautiful and comes with a pre-printed sentiment that you don't have to manipulate to make it "perfect" for the image.  Everything comes already done for you!!!  Bonus!!!   Pattie offers a free image on her blog each month, so I encourage to grab one and checkout what the other designers are inspiring you with.  Most of all take a quick minute over at Pattie's shop as she has added some really cute new images.

Hi there!  It's Thursday and over at Catch The Bug Challenge Blog it is Oldie, but Goodie inpsiration day.  I am featuring a cutie called, Bugaboo Brat Football Boy which I originally colored to put into my son's scrapbook, but he injured himself.  Needless to say the both of us will be watching from the stands this year.  I decided to make this into a birthday card as we aren't going to need a book.   I searched up football birthday sayings and found a website called Wishes, Messages, Sayings  where the fabulous inside sentiment came from.  It appears that it is a free website, but of course I wanted to give them credit!

Which football team is your fave?
Without further ado....

Products used:  white/black/green card stock, copic markers, Darice striped embossing folder, gold/red sequins, Spectrum Noir sparkle pen, white gelly roll pen, Inside sentiment, Word doc front sentiment, stickles, and Bugaboo Brat Football boy

Party Pig

Good morning!  I have a Freebie Friday from Bugaboo to share with you today!  I have to say I love this cute image because it reminds me of my daughter.  I was a crazy woman and got her a mini pot belly pig for her birthday.  That little piggy ran around my house like a little dog.  It had a certain oink to go "outside," a cry for everything and the cutest piggy kisses in the world!!   I loved that little pig until it turned 2 years old then she got into everything.  If it resembled food or garbage she got into it!   That's when the pig became an outside animal.... a farm animal... as in not at my house!!!!

Anyways, back to my card!  I thought the image spoke for itself, so I only added a Birthday sentiment and inked the edges.  Since my piggy didn't leave anything too clean, ironically I made a clean and simple (for me) card.   Please take a minute to check out what the other designers came up with and give their blogs a little love over at Catch The Bug Challenge Blog.  And the Run over to Bugaboo Stamps and get your free stamp!!!

What’s the craziest birthday present you have bought for someone?

Girls Night Out

Hi there!  I hope you have had a great week?  I have been on vacation and am slowly getting back into my crafty world!  What better way to make an entrance than on Bugaboo's Freebie Friday!  Today's awesome image is perfect to celebrate a girls night out or bachelorette party, don't you think?  Take a minute and check out what the other designers have created for my inspiration over at Catch The Bug Challenge Blog!

My card is 6 inch square card.  Some of you may not like sending square card in the US as they cost more to mail, but did you know that you can put them in at 6x9 envelope and pay normal postage rates?  (The same as an A2 or A7 card).    I colored my image with copic markers and stickles for a little bling.  I used Be Mine paper pack for the paper and embellishments.  I think it turned out pretty cute and it was quick to make.  I  also matted the inside with black and white as I always finish the inside of my cards.  I didn't add a sentiment as I thought it fit many occasions.   By the way, this is the first time ever, that I have used a staple for an embellishment... gasp.

What is your favorite city let loose in?

Products used:  pink/white/black card stock, Be Mine by Echo Park paper pack, Copic markers, silver Sticles, Fuschia ribbon, staple, heart shaped gemstone, Spellbinders fancy scalloped circle die, Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink, and Heels Big Bows digital stamp by Bugaboo
